Анотація (abstract)

This article examines the dynamics between local self-governments and regional development organizations within the European Union, elucidating the implications of decentralization on regional development and governance. Drawing from comprehensive literature, including studies from the DFID, COR, European Parliament, and OECD, the research underscores the potential of cooperative governance. The conclusion projects the transformative potential of EU practices for countries like Ukraine, emphasizing the opportunities that inter-municipal cooperation, adaptive governance models, and EU support structures present.
